2007 STI and Logging Knock Values -- EcuExplorer

Postby subbie07 » Thu Apr 10, 2008 9:58 am

Hi guys,

I cant see anything called knock correction. Could it be, that the 2007 doesn't send this parameter out to ecuExplorer.

Yes.

Thansk for replying

I've been reading, how about the "Advance Multiplier". I read that you look for something in this area, but you have to turn on the right version.
Example Advance Multiplier(FF854C)

Use RomRaider for logging. It allows the logging of the important parameters used for knock control. Those parameters aren't available using EcuExplorer.

I'll probably try for that, but right now I only have the Accessport to perform loggin, and from what I understand, the ecuexplorer is the only software that works currently with AccessPort to perform Loggin.

I need to send some logs to PDXTuning, and would love to have the knock info in the data, so I'm trying to figure out the IAM and Engine Load Memory Locations for 2007 STI.

Also,
From what I understand IAM should be 1 and going back down to a .6 once the ecu has been reset--the old way was 16

Is this correct?

Lastly,
What would the Engine Load values need to be?

Try location FF2E30 for IAM and location FF687C for Load.

IAM usually defaults to 0.5 after a reset.

Now that is interesting. I went looking for either memory location, and I don't see either.

I'm on ecuexplorer Build 3.0.28

I'm not sure ecuexplorer will let you do that. It is an aging software. You really should move on to use Romraider (formerly Enguinity).
