Extremely weird readings

Postby Navybluesubaru » Fri Feb 24, 2006 2:35 pm

I am using openport1.2 with ecuExplorer.

I was logging after re-flashing the ecu to scale for injectors, that is the only modification made.

I was seeing load as high as 5 and the ecu was trying to run NEGATIVE ignition advance. It was literally performing "ignition cut" wether it intended to or not. According to my ECU maps and virtually everybody elses maps, the load reference does not even scale that high. The highest that exist in my ROM are around 4.7. Also, the car ran crazy-rich.

Has anybody played around with modifying the load column headers to effectively "Re-scale" their ROM maps?

Yup, I've re-scaled my fuel maps to cover loads up to 4.5, though, I'm still pushing off the edge on cold days.
