Mazda DITD (diesel) vs. OBD2 interface

Postby MarekW » Mon Jan 21, 2008 2:10 pm

Hi,

I am looking for information about how to initiate transmission with MAZDA ECU (DENSO RF4S) with DITD (diesel engine).
There is a obd2 conenctor with 4,5,7,16 pins. So it looks like ISO9141-2 protocol. But ELM327 interface is not able to start communication. Maybe someone has any knowledge how to force this ecu to start communication via K-Line?

There is no information about protocol and obd2 support.
I tried to set x33 (5baud) or x00 (5baud) to wakeup ECU but no replay.

Kind regards
Marek
ps. in attachement you can find the ECU modue. Any hints or tips are welcome.
ps2. Photo of ECU an request ....

This is why I attached the picture to show the details.
Maybe someone can tell me the names of IC which are used by DENSO, maybe soething similar was used by Subaru or Mitsubishi...

This photo was done by one of my friend and I do not know details but I can find if you want.

Do you know somethink about protocol or details about MAZDA communication ? Or maybe you know who knows?

Kind regards
Marek
