Hey neutronium,

Just wanted to thank you again for all of your hard work and time. :)

I was unfortunately unable to get ScoobyView to work with my '05 2.5GT (USDM, 5MT), using the recommended install procedures, Tactrix OpenPort 1.2, and a Dell Latitude D610. ( It's OK, though, as I'm running DeltaDash, and can thus get a decent, if not exactly attractive, "at-a-glance" picture of critical issues such as IAM and KC via the Analog Graphing feature in that software - plus, I've got a whole slew of ancillary gauges wired into my vehicle, so I'm good-to-go, no matter what. :) )

Do you have other confirmed instances of SV working on the 32-bit DBW Scoobys?

---

However, I was able to get SV, including your latest revision, working just fine in my wife's '05 WRX (USDM, 4EAT), with the same hardware.

I'm still very tempted to modify my wife's vehicle, but she's very insistent on it remaining stock. Your wonderful electronic dash program is a blessing in that I'm now able to run a full set of critical gauges without any hard-wiring/plumbing.

Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

I'm really looking forward to your coming revision/update.

I'm glad you like it.

I only have my car to test on so I don't really know if it works on DBW cars or not. Nobody had said anything about it not working on their DBW car so I just assumed it was. Is anyone else having this problem? Or rather is there anyone that does have it working on a DBW car? I'll certainly look into it.

^ :) Cool beans.

I'll cross-post to my home BL/BP Legacy Forums to see if others can give this a try.

Indeed, it can very well be that I am simply not computer-literate enough to get SV working on my setup. :oops: :lol: :)

Again, thank you!

Thanks a lot neutronium!!

I just test it and it doesnt work.

ScoobyView0.03ish.rar is only a sample, right? When will be the functional one coming up?

Thanks

While I could not get either 0.02 or 0.03ish to work on my 32-bit, DBW '05 Legacy 2.5GT (USDM), both work just fine with my wife's 16-bit '05 WRX (also USDM).

And yes, with regard to my Legacy, I did edit the ecuparam XML to account for my addresses. I really therefore do not know whether or not if I made an error somewhere during SV installation or subsequent configuration - or if SV doesn't work with the DWB ECUs. :?:

As I mentioned before, all parameters from the 0.03ish file function accurately on her WRX, as compared to my ecuExplorer logs. In so far as I can tell, it's a full virtual dash, not just a demo.

jacky, you're a BL/BP-chassis DBW, 32-bit ECU Legacy GT, too, correct?

Hi LGT+WRX,

But I got 0.02 working with my LGT 2006 AT.

Is there any wait I can get 0.03 working with it??

The new function looks so nice.

Thanks

Hey Jacky,

Cool! :D You got 0.02 to work with your LGT - I wonder what I did wrong with mine that it didn't want to work.... :oops: Wish I could help you more, but it looks like you were already "ahead" of me!

Hmm, that's strange. If 0.02 works, then 0.03 should work as well unless I unknowingly broke something.

Hi, im working on my skin, and i've got mostly everything working, but i need to know how to translate this:
IAM adress: 0x020124

in to your format for the IAM:

<parameter>IAM
<address>
<byte>0x02</byte>
<byte>0x01</byte>
<byte>0x68</byte>
</address>
<handler>org.openecu.param.conversion.ssp.IAM</handler>
</parameter>

It looks like you need to replace the value in the 5th line, "0x68" with "0x24" but I'm not certain.

Hi neutronium,

Is there any new update on this project??

I still not able to make 0.03 running while 0.02 works fine.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Sorry for not posting in a little while guys. It was a crazy few weeks at school. I'm going on vacation with my family for about 2 weeks but as soon as I get back I plan to get back to work on this.

As for the questions I saw on this page, Jon was right about the correct way to edit the IAM address and I really don't know what the issue people are having with DBW/0.03 could be but this will be the first thing I'll get to work on when I get back.
