Reflashing apps

Postby Spiider » Sun Jun 12, 2005 2:49 pm

Ok Colby, we are all waiting to see what you've got going on with the downloading/reflashing apps.

I'm dying to get my hands on something to try out, any chance?

Seconds on that. There is already a lot of noise going on in logging. Think how fast it could go if we start dumping and comparing images from various ECUs? Better yet, backing up my 04 image, and flashing to an 02 to get rid of my nasty OL/CL delay.

I really apologize for the delay. I had hoped to get this stuff out last week, and now I'm in crunch time with my rally car for a rally next Saturday. Once that rally is over, it's pretty smooth sailing for the rest of the summer and I should be able get my 02-05 WRX kernel and tools out to you all.

BTW, another member already has the CL/OL delay figured out, so you can just run 04 firmware with the delay fixed.

To really show my age... "What you talkin about, Willis?" Link? Data? This is my big delay on modding my car, right here.

I think of it as more of a "whatchoo", but I agree with the sentiment :)

I am awfully excited about getting this piece of the puzzle in place.
Getting the CL/OL delay taken care of is actually my primary goal in flashing currently. Everything else is "great to have", but I'm not at all comfortable with this portion of the factory programming.

Looking forward to seeing these tools released ! :)
Maybe us Seattle area folks should get together for a beer or whatnot someday..

Ding! Ding! Ding! you've got my attention. if that member has posted a thread somewhere, is there a link? I am getting very excited about the upcoming revolutionary changes about to happen.

btw, bofh. my 04 has an uppipe/downpipe with stock 3rd cat and stock ECU. i'm getting constant .76xxx A/F lamdas during a recent 0-1320' run. if you want i can show you tari dl1 data.

.76 * 14.7 = ~ 11 AFR
