Newb Q: 05 STI and want to increase idle rpm...

Postby higB_0x05 » Mon Jul 03, 2006 11:32 am

Please forgive me if this is thread is misplaced. openecu has grown so much i'm a bit lost!

I signed up to openecu early on and havent really been back since i stick to my Utec for tuning. I would really like to bump my idle rpm 100-200 rpms.

I ordered openport 1.2 today and was wondering if people have cracked DBW and figured out how to bump idle?

Use XMLWrite to get a (near?) complete mapping of the ROM.

That works fine, until you reset the ECU. Changing the idle target in the ROM is obviously a more permanent solution.
