How is the load calculated for Mitsubishi Evo's

Does anyone know how the load is calculated for Evo's? On evolutionm.net there seems to be some vagueness about the algorithm. It seems that it is more that the reading from the MAF.

It would be great if colby could write some code that would highlight the cell that is being used for the timing and fuel maps during playback (the logging part of ECUFlash that is being worked on). This would greatly simplfy the tuning process.
