Hey this may be a newb question but i just recieved my 99 gsx ecu and installed it in my 97 eclipse gsx.
I have placed a pin in 79 position, and have connected my ecu to my pc. It goes to read the material and says it cannot read it,
this ecu has been flashed before by ceddymods.

Please help!! this is my dd and i want to get it back on the road!

Try ECUUnlocker (Search this forum).

Are you using the correct XML definition for the ECU? I have a 99 GSX but when I flashed it using ceddymods, I flashed it as a 98 GST. He is only building on the 20550011.XML ROM. I only mention that because I am currently having ecuflash issues and when I did a uninstall and reinstall, i got that same message until I added that XML to the folder.
