Cant read ROM - MY06 ADM FXT

First post, I cant read the ROM from an ADM MY06 MT FXT. Im using EcuFlash Beta and a tactrix openport 2.0.
Ive read a MY06 AT FXT, but when I went to flash it with a tune it bricked the ECU when the PC blue screened, that was when I went to ECUFlash Beta as its reported to be more stable.
Anyway, when I connect the green connectors the fans and fuel pump cycles, I cant remember if this is normal and if it can read a ROM whilst this is occuring. Any input?
