Can't read 2006 JDM Forester ROM

After connecting the green clips, bridging the 2 connectors, OP 1.3 and 2.0 and trying every read method in for Subaru with ecuflash_1422595 I still can't read the ROM. I tried with 3 different Forestors with the same result. I can read my Evo 7 and most other Subarus just fine but these Forestors just don't want to play nice. Any help getting them to read would be appreciated. I also tried beta version of ECUFlash but that would just break communication with all Subarus.

Is the car going into test mode? If not there may be a second set of green test mode connectors, although I haven't seen that on a Forester.
Have you tried both 05sti and 06sti flash methods? This car shouldn't be a problem for any version of ECUFlash newer than about 2 years old.
It's also possible the ECU is locked; has it been aftermarket tuned?

ecuFlash is out of help If you have Denso AG572 ecu (Forester JDM MY02-MY05).

Ahhh yes of course, I didn't even think this wasn't FXT. My bad.
Denso ECUs only.
