Hello anyone who can help me ... We have an EVO 6.5 Rally car that we are getting ready to do Targa Tasmania in this year... I have the latest version of ECUFlash and EVOScan. I also have both the 1.3 and 2.0 Versions of the OpenPort cables.
I have done heaps of 8 and 9 flashes in the past no issues... this is the first 6.5 we have done.
Initially I was able to read the hex file from the ECU but had no definitions for it.. After upgrading to the latest ECUFlash I was able to Read from it (used the 2.0 cable) and write the same file back to it... worked fine. Now I cannot read from it or write to it... Just trying to put my modified file back into the damn thing but somthing isnt right now.
It reads ..

Error Timeout

I tried going back to the 1.3 cable and same deal ... went a bit further but still had an error.

Has anyone seen this before ... any tips on what I need to do to get it working again.

My EVOScan software still works with it fine ... just ECUFlash is not happy.

Are you using the second ECUFlash 1.43 Beta? It's available from the EVOScan site. I believe it had some fixes for those ECUs over the first beta.

No I was using the 1.42.2595 version.
I will install the 1.43 version and see how I go ... I will post my results.
