EVO ACD reading problem

OK have a EVO 9RS and wanted to play with the ACD ECU settings, saw the guys over on EVOM forum were reading etc http://forums.evolutionm.net/ecuflash/473547-break-thru-reading-acd-ecu-ecuflash.html, bought OP2 cable and have been unable to connect to anything. Originally had this log:

but have since loaded the FTD2XX.DLL into the Ecuflash file and this error disappered but still get the J2534 error ?

Have tried:
Uninstall re install ecuflash
Different ACD ECU
Reading Car ECU (wont)
A friends EEE PC with XP SP3, it also crashed
Checked and double checked harness
