evoscan works but I cant read or write my ROM

I can log with evoscan so I know my 1.3 cable works with evoscan. So problem is with ecuflash. I cant read or write to my ROM. I cant even start my car if that white connector is connected. I tried re-installed ECUFLASH but it didn't fix it.
What can I do?

fixed!!!!!!
turned out to be a bad cable. thanks to the one who let me borrow his cable to try.
time to buy a new one.
