Ecuexplorer does not connect to ecu

Postby wrcRabbit » Mon Feb 08, 2010 10:22 pm

I can not get Ecuexplorer to connect to my ecu. I have a 2003 wrx sedan. I am using the Tactrix 2.0 cable. RomRaider works just fine and so does EcuFlash. I can see my Tactrix in the bottom left hand corner of Ecuexplorer and I have the SSM Diagnostics selected but it still reads ECU (Disconnected). All, I am trying to do is read a cel and then clear it. Though I can clear it with Romraider but still can not read it. If there is any other program that can read engine diagnostic codes that works with the Tactrix. Please let me know. Or if there is a special way of hooking up Ecuexplorer also let me know. I've tried multiple ways of connecting it too. I've been trying to do this for some time and I am about to just go to Autozone and have them read it. Though it would be nice to have this thing (Tactrix) to work since I did pay a good amount of money for it. Thank you

It is impossible to use current version of Tactrix 2.0 with ecuExplorer.
