Using openport 2.0 with openecu, couldn't retrieve the rom file.

Which car do you select after the READ BUTTOM selected?

2005-2006 Forester or 2007 Can Vehicle

I use ECUFLASH and it works fine. I have a XT Forester AUS MY06. I am not sure they changed much for 07.

I have a ADM MY07 XT and for me there is no need to connect any jumpers to read or write. When reading the rom I select the option that says something like "subaru CAN 2007+".

Try using the DBW non-CAN methods.
