Hi I have read through some of the posts before putting up a duplicate. I installed 1.41 a while back and it wouldnt reflash anything on my vista machine. The firmware patch came up and it did its thing then i looked like a dummy when i went to reflash an evo or can bus Subaru. So I read about vista issues. Being a computer dork i took my other laptop that runs SP3 on XP and installed 1.37 tried any can bus features... got the same errors, tried 1.38 and 1.39 and 1.40 with the same errror. What gives? here is my log

once the firmware is updated, you can't use older versions of Ecuflash. Some of those early versions had problems anyway with some ECUs so you don't want to use it (and it will do nothing to solve any problem you have.) Ecuflash 1.41 works perfectly fine on my vista 64bit machine and OP 2.0. I would completely uninstall all versions of Ecuflash, then reinstall Ecuflash 1.41 as admin and then run Ecuflash as admin everytime by modifying the shortcut properties.
