I have done a lot of reading but seem can't find enough information about flashing my ECU to stage 2.

I read and understand I need to upload my "stage2 ROM" to the ECU, but where can I get stage 2 map? Do I custom it myself or buy it from other ppl?
Also do I custom it through Romraider/other software?

If I gonna custom a map for myself, is there a tuning guide/book out there or I just play a plug-and-play game here?

I'm very confuse now please direct me.
