I have a 02 wrx and I am having trouble reading the ecu, this is what I get...

the engine is currently out of the car if that makes any difference. I have the cable to the under-hood fuse box hooked up to the battery so the car has power, along with a battery charger hooked up to ensure optimal battery strength. Also the car has a dastek piggy back ecu, I don't know if this would make a difference or not? I connected the green connectors and installed the flash block... any clues to why this isnt working? Thanks.
