unable to connect

Hi, I would like to understand this message "unable to connect to vehicle interace" - in what phase of initialization does it happen? What does it mean? There is a Read button activated - Ecuflash probably identified FTDI Openport, but next phase fails?

To be honest I use ftdi vag-com with changed VID&PID + Tactrix drivers. White initialization connector is hooked to VBAT. Car is unsupported Mitsu Galant (MCU MH6211), but I'd like to know if it even replies to init. Cable works fine with EvoScan.
