12.40v is till too low???

Yes, I read topic "12.56v is till tool low???".
And I've encounterd similar issue.

Code: Select all
[01:54:18.000] reading ecu programming voltage
[01:54:18.015] programming voltage is 12.40 volts
[01:54:18.015] kernel flash enable
[01:54:18.031] kernel blank flash page: addr: 00028000
[01:54:18.046] kernel error: programming voltage is too low
[01:54:18.046] WARNING: failed to erase page at 00028000!

Then, I have some questions.

Cboles said to fix "low" to "out of range" but there seems not to fixed yet.
Is it true? The version of ecuflash is 1.30.1095 ... maybe newest stable version.

I want to know the voltage range that the kernel allows. I think 12.4V is not out of range for flash devices.

Thanks,
monaka

I found a hint by reading code in hc16subaru.rar.

Code: Select all
;--------------------------------------------------
; CONSTANTS
;--------------------------------------------------

min_programming_voltage:      equ   570 ; (11.4V * 50/V)
max_programming_voltage:   equ 630 ; (12.6V * 50/V)

Are these constants used by the current version?
