What happens to ECU when flashed too much?

Postby C6ect.ect » Tue Jul 17, 2007 6:59 pm

My ECU has seen more flashes than I care to admit, what signs signify the ECU is becomming corrupt from overflashing.

Several times I have noticed unusual timing readings while datalogging, furthermore I get an occasional 2 byte reading abnormality that seems to correspond with a brief recording of knock (might be coincedent though).

Other than that the flashing seems flawless :D

Anyone know when the next version is releasing and the possibility of EGR and other emmission parameters available for adjusting?

Thanks

I don't think anyone knows because it hasn't been experienced before. I don't think there is any relation to your symptom.

Thanks Freon!

Reaching 1000 and more to go - Time to start fine tuning again.

Does anyone know what the BE table with the throttle voltages are (for evo). The one collumn table.

I have a feeling this is the table that sets the throttle portion of the EGR solenoid and when reached the BE timing and enrich enlean maps kick in.

BE means boost enhanment, I thinks it has more to do with EGR and was wondering if you people have cracked the code for the EGR parameters yet
