hi there guys Ive had several versions of the reflashing SW & the USB cable for some time & have never been able to get it to work......

with the most recent attempt this is what I get from the log

I only have this car here for a few more days & any help anyone would be willing to give would be greatly apriciated
& if you guys can get me thru this definatly worth a $100 donation to the site although its not much its what I can afford

Locate FTChipID.DLL in your ECUFlash directory, then copy that into your c:\windows\system32

I wanted to say as well that the fans are cycling & both conectors are conected

it does the same thing weather the cable is pluged into the car or not, the computer or not.....

Ok thanks on that one but Istill cant seemto get past this
there are no prompts or anything

my computer sees the cable & port could it be a configuration problem?

Which ROM you trying to read? With my e7 in 1.29, I can't read the stock ROM so I got to search for my e7 definition file (in xml) and put it under rommetadata.
