Toyota/Lexus reflash

Postby ComTech » Sun Jan 21, 2007 7:06 pm

Hi
I'm totally new to the forum. Forgive me if I asking something not allowed.

I am trying to find the Toyota and Lexus ECM immobilizer reflash files.
I am a locksmith student, which I can verify.
I'm trying to help out my brother who bought a 99 Avalon which He soon found out only had the valet key.
I have a EPROM programmer, I need the files for Delco ECM to fix his car.
I would also like to obtain the Denso files.

If anyone knows where I can obtain these files, please post, or PM me.
thanks

Dealers can't reflash these models, they only replace the ECM for $1100.00 plus labor plus keys.

If the dealers can't, then I don't see how anyone else could short of removing the chip and burning a new one to refit. And no I don't know how sorry.

I know how to do it, I just don't have a file for a Delco ECM.
You use a Eprom programmer with a 8pin SOIC clip connected to it, and reflash it in circuit. It takes a eprom programmer with high current capacity to programm in circuit.
On a Denso ECM it's a 93c56 chip.
