Are there any threads/posts/websites you can point me to so I can learn more about what's involved in finding the kernal.

I love a challenge and hate hearing the words "it can't be done" especially if I know it HAS been done already.

Did you manage to recover JECS MY99/00 after failure during reflash caused by V_pp dropout ?

Read / write, we know how, but there is a caveat, if suddenly will drawdown voltage falls connector - ECU dies at all, will solve this problem with the restoration and set the module on the market.
