Yes, as long as the ends of the wire seem like they have actually pushed in to the connector all should be fine. Also I assume your not using 'bare' wire - don't want the wires to short across to the other pins!

Depends on wire gauge so trial and error - that's the best!

Perhaps, I know someone (Colby or Calvin?) on here was looking at sourcing a few. If I come across the thread again I'll post it. But search for 'connector' and I'm sure you'll find it.

Yes you can. Sumitomo Wiring Systems part number 6090-1149. Unfortunately they only sell in bags of 100 so a group buy would be a good idea.
