What model Car/ECU...?
Quite likely. I would not just flash another rom however.
I would modify the existing rom by changing the existing maps and flashing the modified rom back to ECU, and keep an original rom saved for backup.

By all means, copy maps into the rom, but advise using the original one and modifying it as opposed to a whole rom from another car.

there is a slight risk in that they changed the pinout on some of the ecu's. but not very likely.. I have flashed an E8 ecu with ALL E7 and E8 available roms, and haven't done any damage to the ecu yet, although I have disconnected all the non necessary fan control and emission purge solenoids wiring though.

Don't know about reflash possibilities but for Anti-lag itself... but I would think TWICE first.

If used to show-off with a "pop" and a flame-ball you can use it sometimes...
but that's NOT really Anti-lag in the true sense.

Full Anti-lag for competitive rallying puts a hell of a load on the turbo shaft.
It can break the shaft or cause other turbo damage with frequent daily use.
Turbo life has reportedly shrunk from years... down to weeks (days in one bad case.)

Maybe you didn't follow... I don't want Anti-lag system because it will damage my turbo.
I prefer performance to bling. I'm not wasting money just to show off for my friends.
