Giving up...Help me "kernel get version" error

i borrowed another cable from my friend and it worked right of way. it was the last thing i thought it could be since it was brand new. now everything works fine. ive used it to read, write, and log.

I solved my problem with the Ecu UnLocker v1.1 it sent a F0F0 code which worked. there must be some USA roms that changed the init code. So basically now i have loaded every Evo7/8 ROM I have found into my Evo7 ecu and Evo8 ecu with no problems
