Just wondering if the USDM 07 WRX should be supported by ECUFlash. I tried to dump the image tonight and obviously it didn't work.

If it's not supported do you have a time frame of when it will be? Thnx

Do what Braden talked about in that other post. Remove tactrix driviers (should be 4 of them) from add/remove programs. Remove Ecuflash from add/remove programs. Restart. Download 1.29a Ecuflash and install. Even if you previously installed 1.29a, you still need to follow this uninstall process.

Yeah I already did all that before bradens post. When first connecting 1.2 (I had 1.1 or 1.0 before) it wouldn't even find the cable. After reinstall (removed everything first of course) it will now find cable and Ecuexplorer works.

I have a log, of the flash process on my laptop. Will be posting it shortly.

If you have recently installed 1.29a and haven't tried it on anything except this 07 wrx, I would try it on non-07 just to verify it isn't a driver issue.

There's also be mention of a white connector on the passenger's side is sometimes disconnected from the factory that will cause the dl to fail. Not sure where exactly it is, though. Somewhere above the footwell.

1.29a has worked in past with 04. ..

The white connector is looking like the culprit!(Now just to find it) Thanks for the help and suggestions Mechgod. I apreciate it!

Should also meantion ecuexplorer works just fine.

Ecuexplorer doesn't require diagnostics mode to operate, so it could very well be the elusive white connector issue.

Got ya. But if ecuexplorer works, I would assume the drivers are ok!. Would you?

Does anyone know where (Which forum) they saw the post with the 07 STI with the funny white connectors?
