I have a similar issue where I can't write to the ECU. I tried reading and it gets to address 00013C00 and gives me "rkrv: bad checksum".

I've used all the other versions without issue so it's probably the cable driver that I need to update. I will give that a shot and post back.

Interesting. The dpinst.exe that is in the drivers directory gets run during the install. I'm not sure why it would need to be run twice...

I had uninstall the drivers from the add/remove and reinstall from the directory.

With the new 1.29, I am not sue if I can read a DBW now. My colleagues in Trinidad will try for me.

When I installed the latest version it did not run the FTDI driver setup like previous versions had.

Same here. Running it manually from the drivers directory worked nicely.

I have fixed this and released a new "1.29a" version. The only difference is in the installer. EcuFlash is the same.

Running the newest 1.29a with the updated driver install fixed my read/write issue.

Guess I'm glad I did a read that failed before doing a write that failed :)
