May i suggest you read some of the h8/500 pdf's in the download section?

And then pull your ecu and check to see what model processor is in your ecu.

I wrote him a week ago about this. Here is his reply. Hope it helps.

there is not much work to do, but i haven't much time until late sept. to do it. my editing program is universal, so all the work is in writing the kernel, and then locating the maps (which others will do for me).

Fuuhuck you guys are pushy bastards!

Be patient, good things take time!!!

Righto, I'm from the other side of the planet (NZ) and we over here get these wonderful things from Mitsi called Legnums (Station wagon version of a Galant).
More specifically VR4's, these are the 4WD turbo jobbies, and in the 8th Gen VR4 the two turbos are bolted onto a V6 2.5l (6A13TT)

Anyway, seeing as you guys don't have them over there (AFAIK) I've got my hands on a mitsi cable from tactrix and am dead keen to help you with any info you need on getting support for my ECU (whatever the hell model it is)

cboles dude, let me know if you need anything from me.

More info about the Galant VR4s
