Unable to open Rom file for a jdm evo 9 gt
Posted: Mon Apr 20, 2009 9:49 amOk, here's the problem. I download the rom file from the cars ecu and save it to my laptop. then try to open it using the definition file 88570008. The file then opens to show Rom info, but the parameters do not open at all. I have tried this as well as Mellon (who's doing the flashes) but we both have the same problem. Stragely, i sent the file to someone else in the uk and it opened fine doing exactly the same thing i've been doing. I'm really confused as there doesn't appear to be any logical reason one person can get it to work and another can't as it's the same file, same software, same version, etc... Anybody experienced anything similiar or have any ideas for a resolution?
