Hello,

Today I tried to write my new ROM in a Subaru STI EU 2002 and I had this problem(see attachment)

Flashing tools do not recognize flash method ''
I found something on the forum but I don't have a solution

I can read the ROM with 1.29, modify the ROM but I can't write my rom in the ECU.

This is because no flashmethod is defined for this rom. Go to directory Ecuflash/rommetadata/Subaru/wrx. Look for A4RN1000.xml. Open it with a text editor. Under <flashmethod>, enter the appropriate flashmethod for your car. I'm assuming it should be wrx02 - <flashmethod>wrx02</flashmethod>

You might want to check in the EDM sub-forum to make sure wrx02 is the correct flashmethod that others with the same rom have had success with.
