when using ecuexplorer:

key on
start program
go to lower left box and right click under "Assigned to" click SSM Diagnostics
it will probably tell you to restart the program. do so and
you should then see Connected next to the ecu type.

Yup, no question, but you need to get to the step where something other than COM1 is listed there, first. ;)

Nah, got it working fine with the switch-between-drivers method. I'm sure a future EcuFlash release will have the CDM drivers integrated and include the proper VID and PID codes for the drivers to install easily.

The new 1.29 version of EcuFlash has the correct drivers for the 1.3 Subaru cable.
