Can anyone help me I boosted my eclipse gs. I can't get the ecu flash to read my ecu. I have the open port 2.0 cable hooked up and I downloaded the XML definition for my car from evo scan because my car isnt on the default list on the "read from ecu" option and can't get it on ecu flash. I ordered a Mitsubishi reflash cable but have no clue what it's for. I need to flash the evo software to my ecu so I can get my car runnin. It starts but since I put the 450 dsm injectors and 255 fuel pump it won't run.

The extra Mitsubishi cable (with the 2.5mm stereo plug on one end) must be connected to the OP2 cable and to the vehicle's reflash enable connector for reading and reflashing. In Mitsubishis applying the right signals to this extra connector puts the ECU in a special programming mode.
If you don't know where it goes, have a good look under the dash near the OBDII connector. It should be fairly easy to spot.
