EvoScan 2.9 works fine, but I had to change to MUTIII & set the baud rate to 62500. Searched for but can't find a way or need to set the same under ECUFlash. ECU is not locked. I can use EVOScan to read/verify ECU flash. Win7 control panel says 1.3 cable is working fine. Tried re-installing ECUFlash to no avail. Any suggestions?

I'm stumped. I've tried the 1.29 driver for the 1.3 cable, 1.29 ECUFlash, disabling the serial port driver, all to no avail. I've verified the battery voltage, tried with the car running and off, and verified the wiring of pin 26 to pin 79. If ECUFlash is open and I plug and unplug the serial cale for the 1.3 cable, it correctly detects its presence or absence with the notice in the lower right.

EVOScan reads the ROM and can verify the read file matches the contents of the ROM. However, that's only with the baud rate set at 62500 (I modified the ECU's rate to 62500 for faster logging and it works great). If I set the baud rate to anything other than 62500, EVOScan fails to read the ROM. This leads me to believe that I need to change the baud rate within ECUFlash. However, I cannot find any way to do that.

Is there a way to change ECUFlash's communication baud rate? I tried the serial shadow of the driver in the control panel, but there's no match to 62500. I set it to the closest value (57xxx) but as expected, that didn't help.

I thought that when you enter flash mode on these (presume EVO5-9 style) that the main ROM code doesn't run, but the bootloader runs instead, which you can't (easily) change the baudrate of. Are you sure it's entering flash mode ok, i.e., secondary reflash connector connected etc?

You can not use an Evoscan 1.3 cable with ecuflash!!!!

It doesnt contain the licensing info from tactrix that Ecuflash needs to use it.

You can only use Evoscan to flash!!!

Ive seen this time and time again, see this link http://evoscan.limitless.co.nz/evoscan-gps-obdii-cables/details/14/1/performance-vehicle-pc-diagnostic-interfaces/evoscan-13r-usb-datalogging-and-reflashing-cable
