Hello people I have a 1.3u cable for my evo 7.
The problem is I have a old laptop running windows 7 64bit. All drivers for that laptop gets downloaded form the internet by the way.
Now the cable works perfectly fine on this laptop.
I recently bought a netbook. (novatech N1). For some reason Evoscan or ECUflash dont pick up my cable. When the cable is connected Evoscan picks up something under (logging tab) but it don't show 1.3u openport with a tick on the side, It just shows up Blank and a tick next to it. My old laptop does show this.
I am running windows 7 32bit on the netbook as the driver disk I have with the netbook only supports 32bit windows.
I will have to look around in the mean time if I can find 64bit supported drivers for the netbook so I can change to 64bit OS. If that is causing the problem. Otherwise can someone please confirm that they have it working on a windows 7 32bit, then that problem will be eliminated form the problem list.
The cable on my netbook does show up as 1.3u openport Under device manager. So the computer picks it up but Evoscan does not. All the settings and program files/folders I have been compared between both computers and all seems good.
Need some light on this. Has anyone tried this successfully on windows 7 32bit? Is their a glitch or some sort I need to know with the programs?
