CEL, ABS, AYC flashing???? on Evo5

Car is an Evo5
I usually do some Tactrix logging and ECU flashing etc.
I used to have to Jumper pins 1 and 4, but a few months ago I didn't need to do this anymore and the diagnostic lights would start flashing as soon as I plugged in the Tactrix cable (this is weird to begin with).
Now my problem is, even with the Cable disconnected, the diagnostic lights (AYC, ABS, and CEL) continuously flash! The only way they stop flashing is when I depress the brake pedal (very weird IMO), or when the car gets moving/rolling at cruising speed.
Any of you have experience with this? It seems like the car is continuously in diagnostic mode as if pins 1 and 4 are jumpered, which they're not.
I disconnected the battery for a few hours and same thing reoccurs, any idea of what I can try?
