I see mention of an open port 1.2
I think I bought the techtricks 1.0?
are there 2 diferent cables? or is this a SW diference
if anyone would be kind enough to explain I sure would apriciate it

Openport 1.2 is available on tactrix.com.. You got your cable there recently, right? If it was in the last few months it should be a 1.2.

It is a hardware difference.

Regarding the DBW flashing issue, how can we be 100% sure our cable is 1.0 or 1.2, Colby ?

If you scan for OpenPort in the registry then it will show up.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\USB\Vid_0403&Pid_6001\TX13UIzX

The OpenPort 1.2 has the TX______ serial number like gethin points out. I also didn't sell any OpenPort 1.0's after 10/1/2005.
