Where can I get source code files(c++?) of EcuFlash ?

Postby nakagamawa » Sat Jul 05, 2008 2:10 pm

I think that EcuFlash v1.34 can't accept my OpenECU cable,because security code of it isn't match the security code of EcuFlash.
:?: Only Tactrix cable can be accepted.
EcuFlash v1.29 don't check the security code,so any OpenECU cale can be used.
Where can I get source code files(c++?) of EcuFlash ?
Is EcuFlash Openspurce ?

Try programming your cable using the file attached to http://forums.openecu.org/viewtopic.php?p=18326#18326 and let us know whether that fixes your problem.

No wonder I could never get ecuFlash 1.3* to work with my cable, only 1.29 works for me. Didn't know ecuFlash does a cable security check. I wonder why it is checking... :( :(

Thank you for your replay.I tried your information,but v1.34 can't accept my OpenECU cable.Please see the attachnemt.Please see

I found that
//////
All the cables are manufactured from the same company in china, between evoscan and tactrix cables. they are all genuine, you should download ecuflash and install it. and run v1.29 ecuflash, guaranteed to work on all cable configurations because v1.29 doesn't check the security keys. Both the EvoScan and Tactrix cables have encrypted keys loaded into them which can not be cloned as it is hardcoded to the physical microcontroller id, and you can not build your own cable to work with ecuflash, sorry, that was a design decision made by tactrix.com and limitless.co.nz to lock out competitors.
///////
So,please teach me where can I found the source code of ECUFlash.
