Reading DTC codes on a 94 Legacy?

Postby TunerTools » Sat Oct 20, 2007 6:53 am

Anyone know of a reasonably priced option for retrieving the trouble codes on a 94 Legacy?

Had a call this morning from a guy in a bit of a bind on this. We don't have one to sell him, but I thought I'd try to point him in the right direction. If anyone knows of something he can use, that would be very helpful

Thanks,
Lloyd

Connect the Test Mode connectors to each other and turn the key to ON. The CEL will then flash out the trouble code(s). The number of long flashes indicates the tens digit and the number of short flashes indicates the units digit. Write down the code(s) and then consult http://www.psi3.co.uk/downloads/faultcodes.pdf#page=2

Thanks Jon,
Any idea which two pins put it into the test mode?
