Postby ianluis » Thu Apr 19, 2007 4:16 pm

I'm trying to read the ROM of my STi 2006 but I cannot readi it getting the following message at the screen:

[00:57:34.781] SSM2 validating kernel ram area addr: FFFF3000 len: 0C98

I'm following step by step all the connecting procedures for the hardware and the green test connector is already connected from factory.
What could be the problem?

FOUND THE PROBLEM....
For any of you who might have the same issue, the STi 2006 have two different greent test connectors. One by the driver side down the drivewheel and the other by the passenger side. The only one disconnected is the passenger one. As soon as it is connected you may proceed with the next step of the ECU reading with ecuFlash.
:D

Just make sure instead of working with the green test connector at the drivers side, you'll need to work with the passenger side one.
THAT'S ALL FOLKS....!!!!

THANKS.....

So just connect the passenger side together and its all set? The drivers side should be connected all the time right? Also can I just leave the Passengers connected all the time or should it be disconnected after each flash/reading?

Thanx
