Help needed for OpenPort 1.2

Postby ECUboy » Sat Jan 21, 2006 11:42 pm

Hi,

I have got the OpenPort 1.2 and it does work fine with Tari logging software. However, I couldn't get it work with DeltaDash, is there any configuration require?

I need it cos wants to run the run dyno.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Any expert advise? Or is there a road dyno software to recommend using OpenPort 1.2?

Post a log with time, RPM, and speed, maybe manifold pressure as well, but nothing else, full throttle pull all the way through a gear (2nd or 3rd would be ok). Post several under the same conditions if possible.

Sorry, I mean DeltaDash can't detect the OpenPort1.2 was connected, hence can't do any dyno. Any advise how to get it work?

very silly question but have you selected the right com port? if you used dd with the old cable it will be looking for the wrong com port.

The Openport should appear as a seril port on you computer. You can't pick that port from a list of serial ports in DeltaDash? I'm of course assuming that you have a DeltaDash license... otherwise you won't be able to do anything at all.
