Jumper Harness Kit From Subaru

Postby Jon [in CT] » Tue Dec 20, 2005 8:09 am

I wanted to let people know that Subaru sells a Jumper Harness Kit for ECU/TCM reprogramming. It is part # 24036AA010. It's pricey (list $28.98) but it should be available from any Subaru dealer's parts dept. I've also attached a document which shows which jumper to use for recent US Subaru models.

is this the same as those jumpers we install under the steering rack, in order to be able to reflash?

Jon, thanks for that.

For anyone in the UK I've just called my local dealer and this part number is the same. It's £44.23 + VAT! It would be cheeper to order from the US and have is shipped over. Rip of Britan big time.

I'm working on sourcing these for a lower cost. It involves buy a lot of the parts from Japan and doing the wiring though. :?
