Yamaha motorcycle ECU

Postby Jack_K » Fri Aug 22, 2008 12:54 pm

The ECU in my Yamaha Stratoliner is a Mitsubishi F008T83271. Does anyone know where I can find some information on it? Or the F008T83971?

Thanks,
Jack

The ECU is a Mitsubishi F008T83271 and it has 2 connectors on it. One connector has 2 rows of 17 pins and the other has 2 rows of 9 pins. The microprocessor is a 68HC16 with a 4.0 MHz crystal.

The forum linked below is much more motorcycle based. Psyche is the man you need to speak to, he has written Windows software to communicate with the 68HC16 using a very low cost BDM interface. I have used it myself a couple of times.
