There was no such engine as 2.2-Turbo exept exclusive version "Impreza_22b", very rare and expencive european celebrating model.
What you have seen on the page it is 2.2-turbo made by russians
DIY-selfers.
Pulley is 2.2 atmo (naturally aspirated) engine,
CAMs are from 2.0 turbo. And Turbine itself with ECU.
If do not low compression ratio - such engine will be ruined in 2-5 minutes.
The article on the site is against such "dirty-garage" tuning.

I just sell burned chips for old ecu, like G8, K2 and other that has spare socket from the factory.

Summary of the site:
there are three versions of subaru-turbo ecu
-1992-1996 can be chipped
-1997-1998 (ac750) has no approach, besides Doggy-Piggy interseptors/modifiers of the out/in signals, like boost-controllers, ect.
-since 1999 ecu can be flashed.
But it you do not want, have no money or by any reason do not want to flash:
u can sell your new (1999 and on ECU) for good price
buy 1992-1996 ecu for low price
buy burnt CHIP and install it into the ecu
and save some money for suspension for your car or girls for yourself
Old ECU non-OBD, so they are not "ecological" ECU. You can totally decat the car.
That is it.
And one more thing.
Our local rally sport-laws (N-group) do not allow third-parties made ecu, like Apexi, Link, Motec, Gems, ect...
For rally-men is to expencive to flash for every rally-day,
they have a set of chips for various inlet temperature (3-4 chips) and simply change them as the weather chandes.

some Atmo-ECU do have spare socket also, but i see no reason to torture your atmo-subaru.
it never runs like Turbo.
I see no point to waste time and money and rape the engine.
Atmo is a comfortable car for family week-ends.
We do not deal with atmo, only repair. No tuning.
But we can install Impreza 2.0 turbo ej20t 1996-2000 engine into Leone/Loyal 1986
with turbo gear-box and final drive 4.111
and with chipped ecu G8, on 105MON fuel it is fast as a bullet...
It is rather expencive, and no chance to sell this car for good price.
People make them for fun, they have some cars to drive to and from work.
And it is week-end car for street-racing only, cos it is impossible to go through rally-tech-inspection.
More over, total majority do not have roll-cages.

Here is 7.00 in the morning and all night long i solder ecu from 2000-legacy.
In our country we have a lot of drowned cars from US and Europe.
People buy them, cars are very cheap.
But ECU is totally destroyed, so with IMMO on european cars.
We repair ecus, delete immo codes from ecu.
Try to earn some money for our own cars, for 105MON fuel,and for the girls
If you live in US or Canada and see that your Subaru sinks.
Please, disconnect the accum. battery immediatly !
We just clean ECU and sell it like after-repair one.
