Does anyone have some tools for M32R processors?

Thanks!

Renesas has a tool for flashing the evaluation boards containing it.
It is called M3S-UFLA32R, but it is only able to flash - not read.

Any other ideas? :)

After reading some datasheets, It seems that everything to be able to read the flash is there explained, doesn't seem to be very hard.
It even says that the only protection this processor has is a pin pulled to to a state Low to prevent the ecu to be read or written, I know there are other kind of protections ,the ones used by some companies here to protect their work where they set an ID.
What we need is a simple iso 9141 interface with some dc to dc converter to pull the voltage up to disable the protection.
But this is me guessing.
Cheers!

The manuals seem very interesting. I wonder what sort of interface we might be able to build following the instructions!

I think what it's needed is to put the FP in High state to put processor in boot mode and read.

This is me guessing again :S

That is the main idea, but it will take more than the instructions in the manual to be able to read. Boot mode supports writing in this one :-)

With this ecu we don't need to read it trough the JTAG....

we do it trough the ecu plug, without open it...
