I can probably add your definition to the next release so you'll be able to tune it. I just don't understand why your calid is cut off at 0x2000 and 0xC0000 (reads as "A8DG30 "). Do you think a tuner has messed with your ecu? Sometimes tuners will blank out a portion of the id or add asterisks so either you can't open it with the openecu tools or to identify their work. Or you said it was some prototype ecu?

That would great, I would love to play with it as well or just get a nice stage 2 style reflash.

I don't think a tuner has messed with the ECU, it had 2 miles on it when I bought it. Could be the prototypeness of it, but we kind of debunked that with finding out it was 06 EDM STi. So basically I dunno *shrugs*.

I've seen the same thing on other roms. It's just a bit different to find the Full CAL-ID at a seperate point now. Kinda like the A4TF7000

Ah, hadn't yet looked at that new-old rom A4TF700O that was posted up. I did see the full id at 0xCC176 for this one though. Weird.

I've added this rom (A8DG300Z) to the latest Enginuity definitions, if you want to tune it.

Sweet, I will as soon as I get it registered here in California, and get 1000 miles on it.

Keener2.5 can you tell me exactly what connector did you connect in order to read the rom of the limited edition 07 STi ? because I am having the same problem, reading the rom.

I have connected a jumper on the white connector located left at the driver side near the fuse box, and also the green connectors, with no luck :(

I just connected the white ones down by the fuse box and the green ones on the passenger side near the door and the green test mode connectors.

Ah, the the A2UJ000J ROM image which fixes the 2007 STI "Surge on acceleration between 3000 and 4000 rpm" problem. Nice.

Sure that's the fix? Its numbering looks more like a first revision. I'd expect a revision to have something like --100J or --010J, etc.

This CalID A2UJ000J is mentioned in the thread at http://www.iwsti.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1132716#post1132716, although a zero was dropped from it. The CalId on the 2007 US STI as shipped from the factory was A2UG000J.

Wait so there is a reflash for the crappy "surge" "hesitation" on my ECU, considering is an 06 Euro, is it safe?
