So can anyone send me a reflash that eliminates the smog pump code for me?

Thanks,
Brian

Which code(s) are getting? There's more than one for the air pump.

I'll read the code today and post them up. :)

I'm using the EcuExplorer software to read the code, but the doesn't have secondary airpump. Can I update the software to read that code?

There's more than one airpump code - like 15+.

Oh damn, well mine should be a circuit low for the secondary air pump, but I don't have the actual scan tool here so I can see exactly whats its throwing. :?

edit: Is there anywhere that lists all of them, so I can update the software with all of them?
Edit2: I found them, seems like there are 19 of them.

Here's a definition file for Enginuity for all the CELs on your rom. To use, make sure you have the latest version of Enginuity. Go to the Edit menu and select 'Ecu Definition Manager'. Click on 'Add' and add this definition file.

This includes all CELs. Some CELs are already disabled by Subaru from the factory. To disable a CEL make sure its 'Enable' box is unchecked.

Thanks! I unchecked all the secondary air pump codes, so all I need to do now is reflash the ECU using ECU Flash correct?

I know I shouldn't be nervous about flashing my ECU, I've done it to a bunch of other cars, but since there is just about no way to find a replacement...

So I reflashed it. It fired up, however, It idles at 1500, dbw is on a super delay, and even then only kicks up the rpms a few. All in all in doesn't sound happy. :(

EDIT: Well, after I flashed it back to stock and unplugged the obd2 port from the laptop, and it went back to normal. Everything seems cool now. I'm going to flash it again and see what happens.

EDIT:2 Well its doing the same thing. Going to flash back to stock again.d

I forgot to put the checksum fix in there. That is why you are getting that. Here's the definition file with the checksum fix added. Remove the old defintiion and add this definition in the definition manager. Open the rom and then click enable on the checksum fix. Then save and flash.

If the checksum fix is not applied is goes into a limp home mode whenever you make changes to the rom. After you apply to fix, you won't have to worry about it again.
