Very interesting, the ROM code is in a new spot and in the original spot is wacky.

This is an A8DG300Z

This appears to be a rom from an 07 WRX or FXT, if I had to guess. It uses a lot of the 2x2 boost and wastegate maps that are common to those roms, whereas the multiple maps for the STi are usually the same size. And the A8... identifier also seems to be unique to the WRX and FXT (when looking at usdm cars from previous years). I'll look at adding this rom to the Enginuity's definitions once we determine which model it is from.

Some stats for this new rom:
total 2d maps: 502
total 3d maps: 128
total: 630

A2UG0007 (07 sti limited):
total 2d maps: 597
total 3d maps: 180
total: 777

Well its definetly an STi. It is a prototype from Japan, it has smog pumps (that I took out and am looking to turn off the code for), 06 wrx style injectors, still has a vf39 and came with a 6spd/dccd/brembos etc. Our guess over here is this is ECU is whats coming next. That being said, the motor only has like 70 miles on it right now, so I can't rev it out to see what it does. I really need to get the rom from the 07 vlimited I connected to the other day.

And once again, thank you guys for your help.

Ah, I was assuming it was USDM as I didn't read the whole thread very carefully.

I haven't seen a JDM 32bit sti rom yet, but the EDM 06 sti is similar to the 06 usdm wrx and fxt, so that would make sense.

No no, let me clarify. It is a USDM STi. It just came directly from subaru of Japan to Fourstar Motorsports, then to me. Perphaps its EDM, but they don't do kilmeters do they? Any difference in the Canadian ECUs?

Actually, this is an EDM ecu. If you look at 0x200c, you'll see EU. JDM would be JP. ADM would AU. And USDM would be US. Also you can clearly make out STi.

Also, if you look here, the AL340 is an 06 EDM STi:

The 06 EDM sti I've seen is A8DH200Z, but I don't know the case id for it.

So is there any difference in the stock tune?

Looked at it closer and the all these tables were identical to a stock A8DH200Z (the known 06 EDM sti rom) - boost, initial WG duty, max WG duty, low detonation fuel, high detonation fuel, throttle actuator duty, base timing, ignition correction and AVCS.

The map offsets are different, but the number of tables, their order, their size are near identical to the A8DH200Z, meaning this is just another revision for this year. So, it is most likely an 06 EDM STi rom and definitely not an 07.

That would explain the 06 STi label. Well the wiring is definitely 07, maybe the EDM is a year a head kind of thing, like japan is.
Edit: Would this also explain the lack of emissions equipment in the wiring?
