I have a April 04 European STI.

If I read the ecu with ecuflash and save it, then open the image in notepad it says A4RN1XXX, but no matter what xml file i get i am unable to read or edit it. Maybe it's me being a newbie.. But It says no definitions found. I can open Andy's Stage 2 map in Enginuity, but not my saved ecu..

Your car is probably ecutek flashed... just change with a hex editor XXX to 000 or 00Q... and you'll read it...

how big is your file?

192 or 160?

Got it working with editing the file and correcting the xxx to 000 (so it now reads A4RN1000)

And I now get all the tables. Dosn't work in ecuflash though...

(160k file)

What do you mean "doesn't work in ecuflash" ?
